Extreme video from inside the Goshen co, Wyoming tornado on June 5, 2009 from the TornadoVideos.net SRV Dominator. Wind data was collected as the tornado passed overhead. Note the video from the roof bubble cam, which shows our magnet amber light getting ripped from the roof in the tornado. Check out Storm Chasers on Discovery Channel this fall for the entire story!
footage that george bush didn’t want the public to see!!
My TV broke and I am worried about all those great broadcasters out there in the fury of this collosal devastation and human misery in the big easy.Wow, aren’t Larry King and Geraldo Riveriera sensational journalists? Please tell the body count and the shipments of emergency supplies coming in.
When I was little, (living in Central FL) me and my mom and family would get this paper map that had little plastic stick-able hurricanes so you could track the hurricanes. Do they still have that? If so where can I get it? I moved to NY in ‘98, and just came back to central FL oct of ‘08. My mom past away in 07, and the rest of my family can’t remember where they got them from.
In what direction would the shift in labor supply and demand go?
What would be its effect on the equilibrium of the labor market?
I am taking a course in economics and I truly need help in understanding the shift matter. Thank you in advance.
My friend Gwenda Barker works out of an office in Denton, Tx. I want to join her and work disaster relief as a clerk.
After a disappointing May ‘09 chase vacation, dedicated warmsector.com storm chasers Paul and Sarah Austin made the long trek from Florida to Nebraska in search of tornadoes. Their confidence in their forecast paid off, as they captured practically the entire life cycle of the 15+ minute long “Aurora Nebraska” tornado on June 17, 2009, including 8 solid minutes of up-close footage seen here! Paul and Sarah also streamed this tornado LIVE at TornadoVideos.net!…
I’m doing a science project about hurricanes and my partner made me find out what is the worst hurricane ever to strike florida. feel free to also answer if you think the project would be easier to do about greenhouse gasses. ?
I am in Southeast Florida, currently under a Tropical Storm warning waiting to see what tropical storm Fay will do. As of now the latest advisory we are to feel the first tropical storm winds tonight and all through tomorrow. I work 30 miles north and I am worried about driving under 40-mile winds and heavy rain. In addition we are under a tornado warning and flood watch. The building where my office is located will not close down until a hurricane warning has been issued but I am not sure that I should wait for this to happen nor think it will escalate to that level. Considering schools will be closed as well as courts and government offices, can my employer demand that I show up to work?
I mean just look at the photos on the news of the aftermath. Usually the whole house is leveled.
Care to share any survivor stories or tips?
We don’t have basements in Tx.

5. age34- I am then going to move up to the National Hurricane Center as a hurricane specialist eventually a senior hurricane specialist for 15 years age49-Then I want to go to the Weather Channel as a Tropical Weather Expert for least 15 years then semi-retire but still remain a Hurricane Contributer
My kittens must stay outside because we are trying to sell our house and my parents won’t let them stay in.Is there something I can buy that is cheap, or something I can do at home, to allow the mother cat to get out and come in, but keep the kittens from leaving? And also keep out wild animals and dogs from around the neighborhood?I have to keep them close to the woods for shade(it’s way too hot and they start panting if they are anywhere else besides te woods) I have a shelter for them(An animal crate with a pillow, and a door that the mother cat can push open and a bungee cord on it pulls the door slowly closed a lil [but still is open a crack] and a tarp is over it for weather, and it is raised up on two blocks but I still feel like they are not safe..)I live in a small home, all carpet, no basement or garage, or shed, and I cant put them on the porch cuz of my aggressive dog.I am not givin them to a sheltIer. (They are half-persians)I just need to make them a living space! But how?
And I am 14 years of age!! So I can’t "GET A JOB!!!!!!!!!"
I am planning to raise the cats, and I will not be moving out for a while. They are half Persians and I am goin to take good care of them and my parents love um too, but they just cant come inside at this time. *its too hard to explain* I need to build them a TEMPERARY place they can stay with their mother until they are old enough to be given away or sold. PLEASE NO MORE ANSWERS ABOUT TAKING THEM TO A SHELTER!!! The woods are not a lot of woods, only a few trees with a few squirrels and raccoons, and they are on the edge of the woods, not in them, I just need info on how to BUILD a SAFE PLACE! Please??!? Thank You!
For all the IDIOTS out there answering this question….. : I AM GIVING THEM AWAY AND PEOPLE CAN GIVE THEN THE HEALTH THEY NEED WHEN TYE GET THEM! I am not giving them to a shelter becuz cats that they do not get rid of, u know what they do???? THEY KILL THEM!!!! N dont tell me they dont becuz I used to volunteer at one around here…. N I am not taking tose chances with my kittens!! I want to raise them and give them away to people I know will take care of them! Is that THIS hard to understand?????? OMG! The Question I Am Asking is: Please tell me how to make a shelter for my cat and her kittens. That is ALL want to know! And I do give a d***, 3cats, that’s why I’m taking it into my own hands. The shelters aroun here just don’t care… thye just want to get rid of them. If you lived around ere, you would see wut I mean… And thank you for those who arent half-retarded and gave me some really good ideas!

Now, I don’t know these people, but I believe something that presents itself as a think tank should have representation from an environmental group.
Article had some valid points.
Above was meant for Mark. I accidently deleted his name when I edited for brevity.

This morning, I saw its head poking out the same end of the track that it went into. When it saw me, it went back in. However, I expect it will come out soon. I’m monitoring the situation. Thax all.
