With Myanmar’s refusal to allow disaster assistance personnel into their country and seizure of disaster supplies that the UN has already delivered, do you support defying the Myanmar government and airdropping supplies directly to the villages in need?
Or should they just rot?
these buildings are always at air ports and i’ve always wanted to know what they are here a picture

You’ve considered two different economic shocks resulting from Katrina:
1) An aggregate supply shock: Katrina increased energy prices and temporarily reduced U.S. productive capacity.
2) An aggregate demand shock: Government responded to the hurricane with massive expenditures on aid and rebuilding.
What does the aggregate supply and aggregate demand model predict about the combined impact of these shocks on the U.S. economy?
A. Real GDP may rise or fall, but the price level will definitely fall.
B. Real GDP may rise or fall, but the price level will definitely rise.
C. Real GDP will definitely fall, but the price level will definitely rise.
D. Real GDP will definitely rise, but the price level may rise or fall.
6-2-07.Well here we go again.I left my appartment yesterday headed for the cleaners at about 12:10pm.Afterwards on my way to get a bite to eat.I saw the first sewage truck about three blocks away it didn’t have a tank on it so it wasn’t too bad. Before i could get to the next corner it made a left turn in front of me, I could litterly feal my fluids in my body begin to stiffin.I walked three more blocks, there i saw another sewage truck with the tank attached moving slowly through traffic. The much stronger stench permiated the air, with no where to run.As my fluids hardened even more,i felt the seringe sharp stabbing into my brain.I felt this fealing thousands of times since the implant.According to the season i knew severe weather would be born,I Also knew i had to watch the forcast when i got home.I arrived home at 2:45,& watch the news at 5:00,there was Tropical storm Barry.I’ve felt and watched the same sanarieal, sometimes with deadly results thousands of times with know one listeni

So we have a stray cat, and the weather is getting cooler, and cooler, and cooler. We worry that he will get cold, so I have been researching shelters to make. One that is popular with me is one that include putting one plastic bin inside of another, with insulation in between. Here is a link… http://www.pacthumanesociety.org/core/WinterShelter.htm
My dad says that it would not be sufficient warmth for the cat, so I have come up with 3 options. One, more insulation. Two, heated outdoor pad. Three, better shelter. I know that the third option would be the best, but I can’t build much. Would the simple shelter be good enough with the insulation and heated pad? Keep in mind temps can be <10 F, but we also found the cat as an outdoor cat. Thanks!
has increased from 0 to ,206 with my latest renewal! I don’t live in an area that has hurricanes very often either! I have had Metlife for over 20 years with never any claims. The only way to get a lower deductible is if I have unbreakable windows or motorized storm shutters. The premium has gone down 0 but I would rather have the 0 deductible.
Anyone else heard of this or is it just Metlife?
I live in Tyngsboro Massachusetts which is 35 miles from the ocean.
We are getting estimates for hurricane window installation and the first 2 estimates came in about half of what neighbors paid 2 years ago. Has anyone noticed if prices for new roofing, hurricane windows, deck installation or whatever have gone way down because of the economy?
Thanks!
We are from the Galveston area, and evacuated because of Hurricane Ike. We had a friend check on our house, and it is ok, but I know our freezer and refrigerator will be spoiled. After we throw everything out, how do we clean the smell out? I’m going to try to get cleaning supplies before we head home, in case the stores are closed.
A link would be helpful so I can research it or a good answer
If you give me a random response for points you WILL be reported.

hurricane season is approaching and every year my fellow gulf coast residents prepare for the big one (remember rita?) they run to the store and buy all the supplies and water and other non perishables weeks before it even begins. normally i dont prepare too much but my question is does anybody here have a hurricane survival plan? any special tips they would like to offer such as evacuation routes, supply storage,. etc. ive lived in houston and louisiana my whole life and survived a lot of storms but with the economy being so unstable and with gas and food being so expensive, any tips we can share with one another would be nice.
Storm chasers Matt Chatelain, Curtis McDonald, Daniel Betten and Brandon Lawson documented multiple tornadoes from close range during the June 17, 2009 tornado event in southern Nebraska! Included are tornadoes west of Grand Island, NE (near the end) and the damaging Aurora, NE tornado. An AMAZING chase day for Stream Thunder!
How long can a dog, a 1 yr old golden to be exact, be outside, with shelter, in sub-zero weather? Since my husband and I both work, I am concerned about leaving her in her pen, with shelter (a bed and a warm dog house) for more than 2 hours at a time. Do you think 2 hour intervals will be ok? We have never left her in the house by herself yet, but are giving her the first test today for an hour.
1. She is normally outside all day, every day.
2. I am not worried about her chewing on things, she never has, even from 8 weeks old. She only ever chewed her own toys.
3. She has a dog house outside and a tunnel into the barn where she has another dog house with a big shredded paper filled bed, which is inside one of the horse stalls.
4. She has been out in the sub-zero weather and does not shiver. We live in new England and she has a very thick coat.
5. She does have water with a heater in her indoor pen.
6. I am a long time dog owner, this is not my first dog.
7. Huskies can stay out in the Alaskan cold for an entire day….which is why I asked if the Golden can do the same, but just not all day.
Yeah Rexy.. the only intelligent answer!
Solar panels, obviously, are a big investment. And we live in Southeast Texas where hurricanes just love to visit (we’ve been hit several times over the past four years). I’m wondering if it would be worth the risk to get a solar panel? They’re made to stand up to wind and regular rain, but could they hold in Category 3 hurricane winds? And do they have special coverings to go over them, like a shutter or a housing? Or, if they’re smaller (say, less than 4′ or 5′) would you dismount them and take them inside? It seems like a lot of hassle, but I’m curious. Would the energy they generated be worth all of that worry? With it being the official start of hurricane season, preparedness is on everyone’s mind around here. : )

How come every time i try to sit through the littlest amount of programming, be it either nbc or fox news. I am disgusted my the lack of integrity or intelligence concerning these propagandist fucks who have ear pieces getting a feed directly from Bush.
But what is worse than the anchors and the writers? The average slack jawed idiots who have their stories told on the news. I last saw a story about a couple who blamed an airport for losing their 4-7 year old kid when they decided that she could fly be herself. And then there is the people who are heartbroken because they were injured doing stupid shit. Like kite-boarding during a tropical storm. Well thats what you get buddy. And the stupid tech people who run the same clip of a guy getting hit by a car over and over and over and over and over again in attempt to achieve some sort of affect on the brain dead viewers while simultaneously insulting and being incredibly insensitive to the victim and their family members? I honestly believe a bunch of fucking inbred apes could do a better job. Do you agree?
Why does it seem that only the fake news casters like colbert and stewart have any kind of humor, wit or valid underlying opinion when it comes to telling stories about what is happening in the world?
I mean, terrorist fist jab?!?! come the fuck on.
