My question is to all adventure junkies who watch the adventure shows regularly….i had seen a show in TV(i dont remember in which channel though,either in discovery or national geographic)in which the show host goes right into the valcano crater in Ethiopia without any help to take some pictures..you might also seen him in some australian cyclone show for which he hires a specific truck and gets some pics…can you please able to guess his name by the information i have given…i’m searching for his name from last 1.5 years if you dont believe it…please guys,take some time to answer my question…

do you have an "evacuation plan"? where will you go? will you leave early or "crawl" up the interstate at the last minute again?

have you put together an "emergency kit" (if so, what does it consist of) or stocked up on supplies early (so that you can beat the mad dash to walmart or home depot days before the storm will hit)?

or do you just plan to sit any hurricane out?

we spent about 24 hours on highway 59 just to make it to a small town that would have normally taken a couple of hours…

the funny part is…

we were originally headed for dallas…

I-45 was brutal…

The restaurant I am employed with has been closed for over a month now due to flooding. We were expecting it would be closed for two weeks, MAYBE, but it has turned out to be much longer.

My boss told those of us who work full time that we can file for unemployment insurance, as well as disaster relief. I was waitressing 6 days a week.

So, while I wait for the restaurant to re-open (which will hopefully be in the next few weeks) I have been selling some things that I can do without, babysitting for families as much as I can, and now just this week I have decided to file for unemployment and the disaster relief.

The unemployment is something that will effect the weeks from now until I am able to work at the restaurant again, and the disaster relief is back pay for this past month.

My questions:

Is unemployment or disaster relief something that I pay back, like a loan, or is it more like a "grant." - For lack of better metaphor?

Will this increase the taxes I pay month to month? I told them to take income tax out of the checks right away.

Will this affect my credit score?

hurricanes and galaxy have centers, galaxes with black holes and hurricanes with eyes, they both effect space and time the same way just ones smallar then the other. this leads me to think that black holes are formed the same and the condition in them are the same. I was just woundering what others might think about this thanks =)

I’m an hurricane & weather freak i love the weather and i love to track hurricanes, i always be on youtube searching for footages of hurrricanes making landfall. I also want to experience what it is like to have a hurricane come into my state, back in 1989 an hurricane named hugo went through my state but i wasn’t alive to experience it.
Do you think i’m crazy for wanting a hurricane to come to my state ???

When does the hurricane season begin and end in Puerto Vallarta?

I live in Louisiana, heart of hurricane weather and the season has just begun, so I want to purchase some hurricane shutters, so i will not have to go the agony of getting wood boards, then having someone put them up etc. I have double paned windows, which are expensive to replace, I called home depot, but the guy told me he talk to me about "their home program, which sounds like opening a credit account(which I can not do) and paying on it monthly. I just want shutters that can be closed during bad weather myself, and that does not cost into the thousands. I have only six small 4 small windows and 2 larger ones on the home. Thanks guys.

does an employer have to provide a smoking area for their employees? and if so, does it have to be an area that is sheltered from weather conditions and safe area for the employees to take their breaks and lunches free from garbage and homeless. can they have their employees smoking in a alley where it smells and garbage is picked up and dump for the business.

photograghs. My brothers house was totally leveled in a tornado and everyone had sent photos of family to him and he put them in his comp. He did find the comp and several years later he cleaned it up and all photos were still there although he lost all the paper photos. Now my wife wants to put all her photos to disc but we dont know if we should use DVD or CD. She may want to send a copy to her brother. Thank you.

Back during hurricane season in 2005 we put duck tape on all of our windows, and just recently we found that we forgot to take it off one windw. We tried taking it off but cant get it off or it leaves some it there. how can i get the duck tape off the window without breaking or leaving residue on the window?

It’s true, my mother wants me dead! She said it so many times tonight when I called to ask if she was okay after the florida hurricane hit her area. We’ve not been on good terms for many years and through the years I have said bad things, but only when she got up my anger level to a point where I would say something mean and she would run to my rich sister and tell her, then they both would put the "hate" on me, which they are doing now.
