My best friend moved away to another state a few days into Summer Vacation. That was in very early June. I miss her very much, and so do my other friends, but I seriously think she is being a huge drama queen about this. Most of the time when she calls me, she is usually bawling about how much she misses us and wishes she could ‘adopt all of us’ so we could live with her. I told her not to worry because she would make tons of new friends at her new school and not be sad. She kept saying how she’s going to be the new kid and how everyone knows each other and won’t even look at her. Well, she was the new kid last year too and she didn’t have a problem with making friends. Well, now I have started school and I’ve noticed my friend is getting really clingy with me. When I would text message her telling her I had to go to bed because I had school in the morning, she would text me back saying things like ‘NO!’ and ‘No stay awake with me.’ Then when I wouldn’t answer, she’d call me even though she KNEW I had school. When I go to school, of course I turn my phone off. But I always turn it on at lunch to see if I have any messages, etc. I usually see that she has called me about 3 times and left me about 5 text messages saying things such as ‘OMG ANSWER!!!!!’ This is getting very annoying. She sends me videos of her crying because she’s alone and has no one to talk too, and singing sad songs like ‘My Heart Will Go On,’ and ‘When You’re Gone.’ She also calls me 8:00 am (which is 6:00 am her time) and it drives me CRAZY!!! And I don’t know if you’ve been watching the weather lately, but tropical storm Fay is going to hit my city soon. So when I texted my friend saying I needed to go because my mom and I had to go get supplies, she was like ‘No. Stay with me.’ Everytime I told her the reason I had to go, she would say ‘So what??? STAY.’ Sometimes she just makes me want to scream from the rooftops! She doesn’t do this to any of her other friends, why does she just do it to me?? She’s my best friend and I care about her, but my god sometimes I just wanna slap her! Am I overeacting?

The camera caught the E-F5 tornado as it ripped through the house across the street. In the footage you can see another house’s roof slam into the home… then it starts to peel apart. Just another example of the awesome power that nature can dish out.
I am traveling to San Salvador this week and heard that their school buildings were destroyed by hurricanes a few years back. Do you know if the schools have been rebuild yet, or are the kids still in trailers. I would like to bring some donations with me for the primary school kids and teacher and want to be sure I bring something they need.
I was planning on taking down some playground toys (soccer balls, jump ropes, etc.) and maybe some books and/or school supplies that might be useful.
Our next door neighbours have a poodle cross boxer… Interesting mix but oh well!
It is a gorgeous dog… and I have just heard it barking outside. I am in the North-West of England, and as anyone living in England will know the weather is horrible tonight and as far as I can tell, the dog has no kennel. Isn’t this not just cruel but illegal to leave a dog outside with no shelter??
Hurricane Gustav, being a category 2 hurricane when it hit Louisiana, was considered by our nation as a false alarm. I have tried since last night to get my avatar changes to save. On my 360 page I went to photos and change avatar…made the changes, SAVED it…went back to my 360 page and the changes still are not showing. Please don’t tell me HOW to save it…I already know how to do that. I have done everything I can think of…even rebooting my computer. Does anyone know if Yahoo is having problems? Also my tornado avatar that usually shows up in Y!A is switching back and forth berween the tornado and a margarita pic that I also have on my 360 page. This is freakin’ insane!
I bought the facts to one Republican and he was such a cry baby he got my question deleted. This is what I told him. Since Bush took office, the price of oil and gas have more than doubled, which I am sure is just a coincidence, the fact that his family is in the oil business and making a hefty profit probably has nothing to do with it. We find ourselves still involved in a war way after the mission objective was achieved, which was to capture Sadaam and those so called weapons of mass destruction. Although we all know Iraq is a country well known for its oil supply, I am sure that has no bearing on our troops continued presence there. He dropped the ball on the Hurricane Katrina disaster and lied about having any knowledge about the condition of the levies in New Orleans, as video taped evidence showed him down playing the importance of having them repaired. As a president Bush has been a failure. Why can’t Republicans face the fact that they screwed up?
In the quarter-century period from 1945-1969 when the globe was undergoing a weak cooling trend, the Atlantic basin experienced 80 major (Cat 3-4-5) hurricanes and 201 major hurricane days. By contrast, in a similar 25-year period from 1970-1994 when the globe was undergoing a general warming trend, there were only 38 major hurricanes (48% as many) and 63 major hurricane days (31% as many). Atlantic sea surface temperatures and hurricane activity is related to but does not necessarily follow global mean temperature trends.
What made the 2004 and 2005 seasons so unusually destructive was not the high frequency of major hurricanes but the high percentage of hurricanes that were steered over the US coastline.

We are replacing jealousy windows and a existing door with a 16 ft width. The impact proof base of the sliders is quite high so the thought is to recess the base in the slab.
what about those old branches that has weathered the storm and sheltered us young twigs and balance the old tree? Couldn’t we just send our love along the vines to those far outstretch branches before the fall comes.
