A weather forecast for th U.S. Midwest is cooler temperatures, northwest winds with clear skies and low humidi?
1 suggests that a cyclone and a mT air mass is approaching.
2 indicate the dominance of an anticyclone and cP air mass
3 is a consequence of the migration of the ITCZ into the forecast area

Reason it out. If the forecast is for cooler and drier air, then maritime tropical (mT) cannot be approaching. The ITCZ is the Intertropical Convergence Zone, which is always in the vicinity of the equator, so that’s eliminated being that we are in the midwest. cooler, drier and clear weather would seem to eliminate severe weather, so that leaves cP air, which is continental polar. Continental air tends to be drier than maritime air, and polar air is cooler than tropical air, so "2" is the logical answer, see?
