At what Hurricane level I-V do you plan on evacuating your home.?
Or do you wait for the city/county/state to make it mandatory. Have you done any preparation prior to a hurricane becoming imminent? If so, then what have you done such as stock groceries, board up windows or hoard bottled water. Have you included preparation for your pet(s) or livestock and are you planning to take any with you if you leave?

I do not leave even if it is mandatory.
I will not leave my home to looters and you cannot count on the cops to help you out in anyway. Not b/c they are bissy but b/c they are lazy and looters too.

Well we live near Galveston, Texas where Ike came ashore last year. My daughter is terrified of storms so we leave pretty early when one looks like it is headed this way. We have two puppies which go to the hotel in Austin with us.
