Blondy came in Thursday evening with a nice cut on her leg. In the five years I’ve had her she has not been injured. My bf has had her since she was two, she is now 11, and she was treated like a cow, basically sprayed some furason on and let her go. Her cut does not look bad but I know from the swelling their is more than meets the eye. She let me cold hose it once, but won’t let me clean it and barely lets me put ointment on it. This was from the storms that rolled through, we had golf ball and quarter size hail, tornado warnings and swirling clouds, so I left them out. Do not lecture me on that my horse was the only one out years ago when tornadoes came through and the only one to survive when the barn collapsed. I have cleaned and taken care of countless counts on countless horses including a car accident victim. I know how to clean it but have never had a horse so wimpy. She won’t let me get near it now without her lashing out at me. If i try to cold hose she starts to rear, and lash out. It is getting dangerous for her and me. Any ideas? She is actually not lame at all, which is surprising given how swollen and hot it is.
Pics of wound and swelling.

Front view shows the swelling in her front right leg other is of the wound which really doens’t look like much but the top might me deep but I have no idea. Any ideas on cleaning a wound on a horse with no pain tolerance?
Its not infected, yet. She has let me clean it once and it was not there wednesday and there on thursday. It has not had time to get infected. I have been fighting with her cleaning it so i know its not infected yet but if she continues with her attitude it likely will get infected.

Storm chasers Chad Cowan, Darin Brunin and Jordan Wrecke were in perfect position to document this amazing, photogenic tornado that occurred near Grainola, OK on February 27, 2011. The tornado eventually crossed the OK/KS border, and remained over open country for its lifespan. Chad shot this video with the Canon 5D Mark II with a 17-40mm f/4L wide angle lens. Aftermath of a life taking and destructive Tornado, that came through Alabama on Wednesday, tearing up sevral parts of the state and city. Felt bad seeing this, TV is nothing like actually seeing it, God bless all of them.
Video of four violent wedge tornadoes from different supercells in eastern Mississippi into Alabama, including the EF-5 that occurred near Philadelphia, Mississippi, as well as the birth of the Tuscaloosa tornado. Sadly, this tornado outbreak over “Dixie Alley” was responsible for substantial loss of life and property across MS, AL, GA, as violent tornadoes struck Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and other populated areas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of this tragedy.
At least 290 people were killed across six states - more than two-thirds of them in Alabama - as America’s deadliest tornado outbreak in almost four decades pulverised entire neighbourhoods. Two of Alabama’s major cities were among the places devastated by the deadliest twister outbreak in nearly 40 years. As day broke on Thursday, people in hard-hit areas surveyed obliterated homes and debris-strewn streets. Some told of deadly winds whipping through within seconds of weather alerts broadcast during the storms on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Residents were told the tornadoes were coming up to 24 minutes ahead of time, but they were just too wide, too powerful and too locked onto populated areas to avoid a horrifying body count.
I’ve already seen the before and after satellite images, and I’ve seen the radar shots, and I’ve even seen the staggering 3D radar image. But, are there any photos that were taken from space of the actual storm in-progress? If there aren’t, why? Just none over the area at the time?
Nate Hughett and Ryne Chandler chasing the F5 tornado in Tuscaloosa AL. This storm was like nothing else that I have ever seen. We apologize for the language.
Security cameras video released by Lambert Airport shows dramatic pictures of the tornado that hit St. Louis on Friday. The airport reopened on Saturday night for a handful of arriving flights, and officials expected around 70 percent of the scheduled arrivals and departures to go on as planned early on Sunday. Some 750 homes in the St. Louis region were damaged, and less than 100 were uninhabitable, by the 128 kilometres per hour (80 miles per hour) tornado, officials said. free-gift-card.us — Here is a video of Canada’s first F5 Tornado (upgraded from F4) taken from one mile away that devastated the western part of Elie, Manitoba on Friday June 22nd, 2007…the video ends with a second tornado (F3 Rated) near Oakville. This one was on the ground at the same time as the Elie tornado, but I didn’t catch it until the Elie one lifted and I was driving towards Elie to see what happened there…I turned around and tried to intercept it, but it got rain-wrapped and fell apart after about 10 minutes. Storm chasers Andy Gabrielson and Dick McGowan encountered several weak tornadoes prior to the development of the large EF-3 tornado that tragically impacted the small town of Mapleton. They abandoned the chase for several hours to assist affected residents.
Rescuers are searching for survivors in the US state of North Carolina after deadly tornadoes killed at least 21 and injured more than 80 others. A state of emergency has been declared, after high winds destroyed more than 130 homes and damaged many more. It brings the total number of deaths in the southern states to 45, after the violent storms swept through the region. RT on Facebook: www.facebook.com RT on Twitter: twitter.com
Extremely rare audio recording of an F5 tornado. This is taken from a WOOD-TV 8 1964 special with Buck Matthews, called “Tornado”. The video of the tornado was taken by Ernie Czetli. The sound was recorded by Paul Muskiewicz as the tornado moved across the northwest suburbs of Grand Rapids. The last video sigment shown here is not the same tornado, it’s the April 2, 1957 Dallas tornado.
The Elie, Manitoba Tornado was an F5 tornado that struck the town of Elie, Manitoba on June 22, 2007. While several houses were leveled, no one was injured or killed by the tornado. Me and Tara were driving on the trans-canada right into the the thing, crazy kids, we drove past it about 100 metres away this is when the gap between the approach and the crossing occurs, the audio would not transfer from my Lg chocolate phone to my Macbook pro. There are a few times where we are like its coming towards us go go go, and another time like wow its getting huge. The ground was shaking so we peaced out pretty quick, Pretty sick experience!!! Tara was driving and I was filming from my phone. Just recently repaired my damaged phone to get the footage back and to share with all
