		<description>Good question. Migration, for the most part was slowed or even stopped for most cultures as the result of agriculture. Before farming, populations had to move to where the food was. As a result of farming, cities grew larger, and jobs for the citizens became more varied--ie police, merchants, and even politicians. 
 If you look at the population belt of the earth you will notice an east and westerly expansion having to do with the weather, another important factor.</description>
