That was too traumatic to go through again. BUT, I know what to take with me this time when I have to evacuate for a hurricane. Hopefully we will all be more prepared. Unfortunately, the levees here are not ready and I'm worried as well. Edit: Also, Katrina and Rita are the worst two hurricanes to ever hit Louisiana as long as I remember (I'm 18 now and lived through Andrew about 12-13 years ago), and my parents and grandparents can only recall one hurricane that even compared to those. All of them are life-long residents of Louisiana. I wish you luck this year. I’m from Louisiana and I surely hope that this hurricane season is not as bad as last year.
