Just turn off the tv like I do when they start doing crap like that. I don't put up with it anymore. I calmly go over and shut it off. I feel like you do. I can't stomach Fox News. I think they have brought journalism down to the lowest level. It's all about money. Quality and other factors seem to mean nothing. Do you get that sense too? We people just want to be informed with real stories that affect us. We are smarter than we get credit for. I don't think you need to dumb down or sensationalize the news. I think you can make it interesting for tired people. We all work so hard these days and so much is demanded from us. Do more with less. A lot of people are doing the jobs of 4 people. It’s ok. I gave up watching the news a long time ago. Seriously. The only time I see what is going on is when I sign onto the internet and those little lead lines are there. If I see something that seems interesting I click on it. Otherwise, not. I don't read the paper either. Too aggravating. I have too many other things to worry about. Not me.
