F5 Tornado in Henagar, AL DeKalb County Alabama
This was taken on County Road 667, Henagar, AL during the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak. We are in Northeast Alabama in DeKalb County. It did damage in Rainsville all the way to the Georgia line and continued through Dade County Georgia. This has since been rated an EF5 tornado.

what happened? after this?
The homes in it’s path were completely? demolished. There is nothing left but foundation. The tornado crossed about 1/4 of a mile away from where this video was shot.

my grandparents use to live on hwy 117 at co rd 138. did it go close to there?? i know? co rd 667 is just off 138
@lennymo36…yes, it destroyed homes at the intersection of 117 and 138…the damage was pretty extensive in this? area.

how close are you to ider?? my friends also live in henegar their? house got blown away did yours is all of sand mountain’s upgraded? did you have a basement or something??
