How to find entry level disaster relief jobs such as with Fema?
I am a recent college grad looking to get into disaster relief work. I am looking for a job with FEMA, Red Cross, etc. The problem is they don't really seem to have to many entry level type of positions. Any ideas on who to talk to, or where to go to get more experience for these types of jobs?

To get experience that will make you attractive for relief work, get all the disaster training you can from the American Red Cross and join them as a volunteer. You could also look into volunteering at your local fire station and getting training for that as well. This kind of volunteering will not only get you training and experience, it will also get you in contact with people who are professionals, and that can often lead to paid work.
You might consider learning a second language as well — this will make you particularly attractive to organizations like FEMA. Spanish is an obvious choice, but just about anything would be of value.
usa.gov All fed jobs listed. Talk to local reps…track them down and make time to introduce yourself. Every fed agency has local offices in every state. Volunteer activity will help, make you more attractive.
