ok, thanks! i figured being in NW houston it wasnt so bad, but the news coverage was pretty crappy (i knew more than the anchors did)and couldnt be too sure.
7 days since Ike and still no power!
I live downtown on Montrose and we still don’t have power….9 days!!! I know people that have been told they are not getting power until Oct. 5th

o man your lucky the next day you got power i didnt have it for 16 days
To be honest they put back power depending on how bad the damage is, the worse it is the later they will work on. So yea cleaning up the neighbor hood actually did some good because it was just 6 days I went without power and to be honest it was fun because it snapped out of my addiction of the internet and I started to hang out with my friends more. What was really fun was exploring the damages hurricane did. I’m just glad everyone’s house at my street is ok and that everyone is alright,
My grandparents live in The Heights and they didn’t have power for 2 weeks.
