I was in Port A surfing the same storm.
The guy starting @ 2:33 was the only real ripper in the video. He did big smooth roundhouse cut back and banked them off the whitewash again and again then finished with a pro-caliber tube. He made the most of the waves and conditions. Should have focused on that guy a little more. Nobody wants to see another shitty old fart long boarder standing up. Whopp-de-do.

Well, probably safer being in the water where only water can hit you rather than being on land with wood and metal flying around. I bet a lot of lives could have been saved if the tsunami victims went swimming rather than running inland.

when i lived there i used to fish off bob hall pier. i used to laugh at the surfers trying to surf a 1ft swell. these kinds of waves you get at the uks fistral beach everyday. although its not as warm. in fact its freezing.

i almost drowned there about a month ago. got fucked up by the barnacles. it was pretty scary.
dang every summer i go down to corpus i wish the waves were that good when we go lol

@anonymous812 In the 70’s? Lol. I still can’t get into his music. I guess I’m one of those old farts that still watches moldy VHS copies of Wave Warriors 3 and Archy surfing T street with the killer heavy metal soundtracks in the background.
