INCREDIBLE tornado video from May 5, 2007 - enhanced
TornadoVideos.net storm chasers captured this video of a large 1/4-1/2 mile wide tornado in Stafford County, KS on May 5, 2007. They closed within a few hundred yards of the tornado as it passed in front of them…thankfully missing a house. This tornado was EXTREMELY violent. The contrast was adjusted to how the tornado appeared in reality.

I know that their was one in Oklahoma that completely leveled a town I think in O5. Jarrel texas also had an Ef5

Yeah, but the problem with that is two-fold. First you would have to actually get an anenometer in the tornado’s path. Second, tornado winds are so strong that they destroy all measuring devices. So you have to actually estimate the wind speed based on the effects of objects hitting other objects.
probably the one that hit oklahoma city on May 3rd, 1999. It had winds that reached up to about 317 mph. the highest recorded winds on earth. that might be wat their talking about.
i rode out that EF5 tornado that hit greensburg ks last year that is something i will never forget it was really scary

did you really did you lived there my family and i also rode it out and our 4 nebors what street did you live on? some times why did it happen it was so peaceful and nothing ever happend and it was so small i hope it dose not become a gosht town
Why would someone want to live in a place where there were bad tornadoes, earthquakes etc?? Its just crazy!
good question dude, but i think, that roots of generations are stronger than any disasters. i can’t see other reasons.

Dude… Anywhere you go in the United States you’re going to find that. They are very rare occurances to get bad ones like the one in Greensburg, KS. We’re used to it. I live in MO so.. we get a lot of tornadoes… You get used to it.
Gah I love watching these videos. What I love about these guys, compared to the other ones that are on the show “Storm Chasers” is they find the best and most impressive tornadoes with standard equipment you can buy at Best Buy. While the other ones have made a stupid car “built for tornadoes” and it can barely withstand the road. A DOP Radar truck,a huge team and somehow they NEVER get a good tornado or a good tornado shot for that matter. You think they could with all that gear…

Sorry, that isn’t that tornado because of the date (the day after the F5 that hits greensburg, on the third episode appears that tornado) so forget my last comment.
