		<description>It depends on where you live in Florida. In the southern sections palms fare pretty well in a hurricane, but in the central and northern parts, many types of palms do not do well. Believe it or not,crepe myrtle trees stand up very well during a storm and are beautiful. Blooming all summer long. I have lived in Florida all my life and have experimented with different types of trees and have found crepe myrtle to be one of the best.</description>

		<description>palm trees are sturdy trees, my dad just got one that came from Florida and the landscape guy said they are very sturdy.  I live on the Mississippi gulf coast and alot of palms are still standing.</description>
