Options for personal/home business on-line backup.?
I have personal data and sensitive business information on my computer. I have an external drive for backup, but I am also looking to backup certain fiiles online. I am in a hurricane sensitive state and feel I need more protection. I have had virus issues and I lost data recently and had to recreate it manually even though it was backed up. On an attempt to restore, the backup files were corrupted and not everything was transferred.

Micrsoft’s new Mesh gives you 2 GB of free online storage space. Using a web browser you can upload one file at a time which is a pain in the butt. BUT they have a download program that intergrates with windows explorer. Once you chose a folder(s) it will automatically keep those file synced up with the online storage. Even better you can install it on multiple computers and add each pc as a user and keep files synced across different pc’s or between a work group thats working on a project. For a Beta application it seems to work rather good on my Vista OS.
