Politics , A Potential Coup , And All-Out War At Where ? The National Hurricane Center !! No Kidding . . .?
If you’ve ever watched the weather channel , you will remember Max Mayfield , the recently retired director and beloved hurricane forecaster . Mayfiled was the head guru , top-dog of hurricanes .
He retired in January , and now the new guy is under attack by what seems to be his entire staff . They all wrote letters calling for his immediate removal . I guess he exagerated about needing new equipment and the consequences if he doesn’t . So they rebelled and are now ignoring him !! Ohhhhhh my !! LMAO .
So my question is : What do you think will be their next move ? . . . Duels with their pointers ? Thunderbolts ? I hear they’re already in heated battle using sling-shots and hail stones . One guy almost bit the dust when he got hit in the heart , but was miraculously saved by his pocket-protector !! Smile .
What’ll they do ?Employ traditional western warfare or sink to terrorist tactics ?

How dare they come up empty handed. The weather channel will fire them for non-usage of scare tactics!
Why this is in the news is what amazes me. Are these people all retarded and think that going back to juvenile high school tactics is the way to deal with issues in the work place? Whether this guy is right or wrong, I would fire each and every one of them for letting this crap go on and be leaked to the press.

Yupchagee mentioned that they will all go around in a circle, I wonder if they are going around in a counterclockwise direction such as air movement around a low pressure area in the northern hemisphere (and clockwise around a low in the southern hemisphere) according to Coriolis Effect? Going down down the tube……

Mayfield was wrong, always, and so are his people. Want to know about hurricanes, ask Dr. Gray.
I watched this storm on 04 for four days I knew exactly where it was going, NHC kept saying it would turn north, it did not and I was caught in the sucker. In 04 Mayfield predicted that Ivan would hit St. Lucia or Martinique, at four hours before the storm passed south of Grenada NHC said it would turn north and hit St. Vincent. In 05 NHC said Emily would pass between St. Vincent and St. Lucia, six hours before it passed right over Grenada NHC was predicting it would turn north and hit St. Vincent.
I sail down there and on the East coast, you have a better change of predicting what a storm would do as compared to Mayfield and his goofs. The new guy is right their technology and equipment is way behind the times.
Let’s hope they all quit and the new guy can get some new people. Change is good, especially for a bureaucracy.
