No you will be safe.
Better safe then sorry =)
I would get a little extra food and make sure that your tank is full.
Don’t worry about moving to higher ground unless you are in a flood zone.
It should be a fun storm.
Move to higher ground: Yes
Pack up on supplies (don’t forget beer): Yes
Fill up car with fuel: Yes
You should be ready to move, but you can wait until you get a signal from the government and then move.Stay tuned to the weather reports. If it looks like Earl is heading your way, then move!
I would advise that you do so, i would advise that you pack food and get supplies for at least 2 weeks just in case the worst happens.
If you can leave now, as in this moment then please do so because IF the hurricane hits land then millions will be trying to get out.
When Charlie hit Orlando, Florida (Acategory3) we didn’t have power for three weeks.
Fill up your car, get TONS of bottled water/canned food/candles/lighters/flash lights/batterys.
