1.You should draw a line of best fit for a scatter plot if there is no correlation among the data points.

True
False

2.You have to spend on x candles and y batteries for your hurricane supplies. Candles cost .00 each and a pack of C batteries cost .50 each. Write an equation in standard form to represent your purchase of these supplies.

6.5y = 3x 25

y = 6.5 over 3 x 25

3x 6.5 y = 25

6.5y 25 = 3x

3.Which of the following equations represents y =-7 over -2 - x 3 in Standard form?

7x 2y = 3

7x 2y = 6

7x 3y = 6

x 7 over 2 y = 3

4. What is the x-intercept and the y-intercept of the graph of 6x - 3y = 18? pleas show the work

5.Write an equation of a line with slope m = -2/ 5 and passing through the point (5, -2).

y = -2/5 x - 2

y = -2/5 x

y = -2/5 x 2

y = -2/5 x 4

true or false???
help im desperate

A. 6.5y = 3x + 25
B. y = x + 25
C. 3x + 6.5 y = 25
D. 6.5y + 25 = 3x

This link above lists the total US hurricanes starting in 1881- Present. There is ABSOLUTELY no correlation between this data and global "climate change." Global temperatures are "increasing" and yet the hurricane frequency seems to be random at best.

For instance between 1881- 1890 there were 10 MAJOR (category 3,4,5) hurricanes, while 2001-2004 saw only 3.

So how can hurricanes be increasing due to global warming if neither hurricane frequency nor hurricane power are increasing?

Are the global warming alarmists lying to us?
Crabby_blindguy: I wasn’t aware that the "National Weather Service" was junk science from the "oil companies"…indeed you must be much smarter than ALL of us to see such a hidden connection.
As requested: here’s a link from www.fight globalwarming.org that says hurricanes are getting fiercer because of global warming http://www.fightglobalwarming.org/page.cfm?tagID=245.
