Brian Osburn, an XtremeTeam Member of XtremeHurricanes.com, has filmed what is arguably the best hurricane footage on YouTube. Hurricane Dolly shocked forecasters and all of South Texas when it came ashore and released enormous amounts of energy upon South Padre Island on July 23rd, 2008. The news crews were too scared to go out and give you the complete story on this viscious storm, but thanks to this video, not only will you learn the truth about this storm, but you will also experience first hand just how powerful an eyewall of a hurricane can be. So…you think you want to be in a hurricane? Think again. And after you watch it, you be the judge. Was this a Cat II storm as the news and weather services reported, or did part of it become a Cat III storm that put many thousands of people packed on a barrier island at high risk of severe injury or even death? Leave a comment and tell everyone what you think! Oh…and as always…enjoy!

This is raw video from David Reimer shot just south of downtown Oklahoma City on the now infamous May 10, 2010. Sirens were activated just after 4:45 PM CDT when the supercell that would go on to produce several strong tornadoes, including the Moore EF4, first became tornado warned just southwest of the city. This was a High Risk day from the Storm Prediction Center and the local media had been hyping up this event for the past week, still there were some people that did not take the warning seriously, as you can see in the video. This was about ten minutes before we moved northeast to get out of the way of the softball sized hail inbound and to get in the path of the cell out east of the metro. Be sure to check out Connor’s excellent tornado video from the red river that was taken about 90 minutes later. This video is not for rebroadcast, but a clean version of the video is available for media licensing.

Storm Chaser Andrew Pritchard of PrairieStormMedia.com caught this tornado near Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on July 22, 2010! This storm produced multiple tornadoes and caused damage in several areas of southeast Wisconsin.

This video shows the aftermath of Hurricane Ike on Galveston Island, TX on Saturday morning after landfall. One of the biggest threats were fires, which were almost impossible to control given the strong winds. Check out the pre-landfall surf and landfall videos on the TornadoVideos.net channel

www.ultimatechase.com The EF-5 tornado that struck the small town of Greensburg, Kansas on May 4th , 2007 caused complete destruction. Over 95% of the town was completely destroyed. This 5 minutes video diary by Mike Theiss of ultimatechase.com shows the destruction in Greensburg and example of why tornadoes are so dangerous and why it’s important to get “underground”.

Various hurricane damage clips I have filmed since 1984.

May 9, 1999, damage six days after the massive F5 tornado that struck south Oklahoma City and Moore. This footage was shot primarily in the neighborhood near SW 134th Street and Western Avenue in Oklahoma City.

This is part 3 of my videos of Hurricane Charley. This is by far the worst part of the hurricane. I am in Bonita Springs, Florida. The worst of this storm occurred about 45 to 50 miles to the north of Bonita Springs at Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Charlotte Harbor in Charlotte County. Hear the sound of the wind and see how amazingly strong this hurricane was even 45 and 50 miles to the south of where the worst of Charley occurred.

Storm chasers Matt Chatelain, Curtis McDonald, Daniel Betten and Brandon Lawson documented multiple tornadoes from close range during the June 17, 2009 tornado event in southern Nebraska! Included are tornadoes west of Grand Island, NE (near the end) and the damaging Aurora, NE tornado. An AMAZING chase day for Stream Thunder!

This is a video clip from the DVD program “Storm Chase 1990-1992 by Robert Prentice.” This is a damage survey of the devastating F5 tornado damage at the Andover, Kansas Golden Spur Mobile Home Park shot on April 27, 1991. This internationally famous event has been featured in many documentary and news programs. Oddities include mangled cars, de-barked trees and a bent spoon embedded into the ground. Some scenes contain flattened homes as far as the eye can see. Sobering video that forces us …

This part 1 of my live footage of Hurricane Charley which struck the southwest Florida peninsula on Friday, August 13, 2004. Charley came in and the National Hurricane Center in Miami forecasted the storm to move north and make landfall in the Tampa Bay area. However, as with other hurricanes, they seem to have a mind of their own and Charley was no exception. Charley made a turn and was moving toward Sanibel Island near Fort Myers and then veered away at the last minute, but still caused …

Here is a video of Canada’s first F5 Tornado (upgraded from F4) taken from one mile away that devastated the western part of Elie, Manitoba on Friday June 22nd, 2007…the video ends with a second tornado (F3 Rated) near Oakville. This one was on the ground at the same time as the Elie tornado, but I didn’t catch it until the Elie one lifted and I was driving towards Elie to see what happened there…I turned around and tried to intercept it, but it got rain-wrapped and fell apart after …

Watching the Saubat’s house flood in Chalmette during Hurricane Katrina. See the water go from 0 to 14ft. My neighbor stayed for the hurricane and video taped my house for as long as possible. Thanks to Mr. Ray Dacula.

This was taken on the west side of Aurora, NE in the evening of June 17, 2009. I’m amazed at these wonders and love the excitement of seeking out a new adventure. This was definitely an adventure. I was completely safe during the taping of this as I had an escape route planned if it started moving towards me. It sat in the same spot for 18 minutes. I’m not a professional storm chaser, nor do I claim to know everything about tornados, so when listening to the audio you are hearing the …

On July 3, 2009, Chad Cowan chased a cluster of severe storms through central Kansas. After encountering wind damage caused by earlier cells, he finally documented a brief tornado from I-70 between Salina and Abilene. You can follow Chad’s chases LIVE at TornadoVideos.net!
