I live in Corpus Christi…we have a hurricane warning, but we only have voluntary evacuation for people living in flood prone areas of this county(Nueces County) like nearby padre island. We didn’t board our windows, though most of our neighbors did. What should we expect here in Corpus Christi if Ike goes as predicted…right now it only seems a bit windier than usual, but Ike is coming near mid night I think anyway…Can anyone help?

Like I saw most of the "computer models" (i guess they are called) are bringing the storm over Mexico. Earlier today and yesterday they were bringing it over the Texas area, but now there aren’t any models I saw bringing it over Texas, so are we in the clear? What percentage do you think the storm has of making landfall over the Galveston/Houston area?
