I decided this could be a significant storm, despite many people defying the odds and disregarding warnings. Therefore it seemed like a historic thing to try and capture the essence of the weekend Ike hit Texas. Hope you enjoy!! (Really I just wanted to see if I could get a large number of hits without the video having “sex” in the title)

I have a neighbor that leaves his toy poodle outside without any shelter from cold and rain. He states that it is an animal and belongs out in any weather without shelter. I did at one time take the dog out of the rain and cold. The dog was cold, wet, dirty, shivering, and scared out of it’s mind. The neighbor stated that if I did that again he would call the sheriff(I did enter his property to rescue the dog). I feel that I should have called Animal Control. It is now over 100 and the dog has only a shade tree to keep it out of the heat. There are some serious medical concerns with the wife of the neighbor that I don’t want to aggrivate, but I feel the dog issue needs to be dealt with. Others say not to get involved but I feel that someone needs to pound some sense into that man. What suggestions do you have in this matter?

I am so ready to cry. We’ve planned an outdoor wedding in a rose garden with an outdoor barbeque at a park and the weather forecast says thunderstorms. We have rain site at the garden thats inside, but obviously not as pretty as the garden…but at the park we’re just under a shelter, but nobody will want to be there if its storming. i can’t believe this…i’ve spent so much money on the barbeque reception.

ok i live in jacksonville fl and fay is supposed to be hitting us today and i keep watching the weather channel and i don’tt mind thunder, lighting, rain, poweroutagess but i keep see reports about tornadoes and the damage the storm has cause and they say they fay is gonna head off shore and it might strengthen and hit our area next. (lucky us.)i know that tornadoes come in many different forms like rain wraps, water spouts, etct ect. ive been amazingly terrified of tornadoes ever since i heard that they can kill people. as of right now the sky is already dark and its only 11 30 in the morning. . if there is a tornado in my area then what kind should it be depending on the storm? and would it hit my house since i live on the west side(i kind of live near flat land)?I’m sooooo terrified i dont want to die i dont want to lose my house im just starting out my high school year and i dont wanna lose my high school oppurtunities!! and if a tornado is heading my way how should i prepare????a and how do i calm my nerveesss????? im sooo terried! and what kind of tornado would it be? Hoarfull legion
rampant, skyborn
seeths in
from a northern clime.

Feel the pressure
falter, failing
shrink now
from ice razored rain.

Trees uprooted
blossoms savaged
cyclone
screaming in the dark!

Yet survival
comes at light time.
Mother’s

On May 13th 2009, Matt Van Every leads Extreme Tornado Tours to within 100 feet of a violent tornado before they have to rapidly BACK UP! The video was shot 5 miles east of Kirksville, MO on SH11 by tour guest Blake Knapp. Large debris crashed all around them as it passed 50 feet behind a house.

A Hurricane was approaching and I caught this footage of the winds and flooding.

There is something wrong with the AP photo of the tornado supposedly hitting Iowa on Yahoo! news from Midwest flooding. I got this same photo from friends after the tornado hit Chapman, Kansas. On the left side of the tornado is a square notch missing out of the tornado. Tornadoes don't have missing square pieces. Also there is no rain or hail and the streets aren't wet.
