I got bored during the storm, so i took some footage of just how bad the storm was in Melbourne, FL.
On the evening of 14th September 2009 typhoon Koppu passed to the south of Hong Kong bringing extreme winds and pounding storm surge. Fellow storm chaser Andrew Glanville and I recorded a wind gust of 98mph and filmed winds well in excess of 100mph.

Tropical Storm Fay was passing by for a visit. This is not the greatest footage, but it is the “real” tropical storm footage…not the “drama” that the news gives you.
