On the evening of 14th September 2009 typhoon Koppu passed to the south of Hong Kong bringing extreme winds and pounding storm surge. Fellow storm chaser Andrew Glanville and I recorded a wind gust of 98mph and filmed winds well in excess of 100mph.

All the global-warming goons like to show us how "smart" they are by blaming all the thunderstorm, tornadoes, and hurricanes on global warming. They like to forget that it is SUMMERTIME here in the northern hemishere, and this is when such activities as thunderstorms, tornadoes, and hurricanes are at their PEAK!
Is there global warming? Well, that depends on your definition of global warming. Do you consider a rise of half a degree celcius a manifestation of global warming or a minor oversight of the thermometers the scientists used?
Better yet, could the SUN be the cause for global warming? These goons like to think that everything is static from their limited perspective, and that the sun has no cyclic activity.
"Sun spots? Those don’t mean anything," is what they will tell you. However, there are data that illustrate otherwise.
Time was, when the sirens went off, you had 2-3 minutes to get to the shelter.
About 8PM in KC, the sirens went off near my apartment, but the warning only indicated "a thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado".
Too many false alarms, and people will start ignoring them.
This was taken on the west side of Aurora, NE in the evening of June 17, 2009. I’m amazed at these wonders and love the excitement of seeking out a new adventure. This was definitely an adventure. I was completely safe during the taping of this as I had an escape route planned if it started moving towards me. It sat in the same spot for 18 minutes.
