TornadoVideos.net storm chasers Reed Timmer and Dave Holder captured this huge, violent wedge tornado in southwest Manitoba on June 23, 2007. Up until 3 years ago, fuel prices were never affected by the weather. This has to be a result of oil speculation instead of supply and demand as it used to be.

We plans for a vacation to Orlando starting Aug 23 till Sep 6. What’s the weather there? People says it is the hurricane season with lots of rain. So, I want to know and get better prepared. Please advise. Thanks.
I’m putting this in the motorcycle Racing section, coz you need to be a fan to understand it.
Tropical storms are given names throughout the year. The first of the year begins with "A" the second "B" and so on through the alphabet. So the twelfth name has to begin with "L". With me so far……?
Texas is an unfortunate state as far as weather is concerned. Ravished by Tornado’s in the north and Hurricanes in the south.
Now the name for the twelfth Hurricane of the year (a storm that could chase out the Tornado’s from Texas) is………Lorenzo!
Coincidence? Or does somebody at the "National Hurricane Centre" have a wry sense of Humor?
Incidentally, I got this little snippet from an excellent blog called "Kropotkin Thinks". If you haven’t already discovered this gem, then I thouroughly reccomend it to any Moto GP fan.
poor people suffer every day from foodless ,shelter some one who love them or help them come on go out there help peoplewho have nothing for this cristmas ,and this weather
I live in an assisted living facility. We stay 25 feet from the building, but the weather is very hard on the elderly and the employees. I have a car, so I use my car, but not everyone will fit in my car nor do they want to sit in my car. How can I present this to the resident council.
A collection of severe weather clips shot over the past few years, including tornadoes, large hail, lightning, hurricanes, storm clouds, dust storms and a few other videos of violent weather. Shot by Warren Faidley. Faidley, recently called America’s “Top Storm Chaser” by MSNBC, is one of the few journalists and professional photographers who has witnessed and survived both an F-5 tornado and a category 5 hurricane. Warren is a best-selling author, motion picture consultant (Twister) and has …
On July 3, 2009, Chad Cowan chased a cluster of severe storms through central Kansas. After encountering wind damage caused by earlier cells, he finally documented a brief tornado from I-70 between Salina and Abilene. You can follow Chad’s chases LIVE at TornadoVideos.net!
Okay, I was in the 1995 "Mayfest Hail Storm". We got very little warning so I ended up getting stuck outside in it. The only shelter that I could find was a wooden ticket booth. There was softball size hail and the ticket booth was breaking apart. I was 14 and alone in all of this and I got the crap beat out of me by wood and hail. At the time, this was the worst hail storm in U.S. history. All these years, I have NEVER been scared of the weather even though I went through that. This year the weather here in N. Texas has been crazy. It rained almost everyday from March-July and from April-June we have had a lot of tornado watches and warnings. Usually I only hear the sirens go off once a year. I have heard them go off so much this year that I have become extremly fearful. Whenever it even starts to rain I have a painc attack. I’ve already been diganosed with generalized anxiety disorder and PTSD (the PTSD was because of a crime that I witnessed 2 years ago).Is this irrational?
My fear of storms is so bad that if there is even a 20% chance of rain I will not leave the house. I am thinking that my fear might have something to do with the hail storm that I was in but that was 12 years ago.
I am 27 by the way.
My kittens must stay outside because we are trying to sell our house and my parents won’t let them stay in.Is there something I can buy that is cheap, or something I can do at home, to allow the mother cat to get out and come in, but keep the kittens from leaving? And also keep out wild animals and dogs from around the neighborhood?I have to keep them close to the woods for shade(it’s way too hot and they start panting if they are anywhere else besides te woods) I have a shelter for them(An animal crate with a pillow, and a door that the mother cat can push open and a bungee cord on it pulls the door slowly closed a lil [but still is open a crack] and a tarp is over it for weather, and it is raised up on two blocks but I still feel like they are not safe..)I live in a small home, all carpet, no basement or garage, or shed, and I cant put them on the porch cuz of my aggressive dog.I am not givin them to a sheltIer. (They are half-persians)I just need to make them a living space! But how?
And I am 14 years of age!! So I can’t "GET A JOB!!!!!!!!!"
I am planning to raise the cats, and I will not be moving out for a while. They are half Persians and I am goin to take good care of them and my parents love um too, but they just cant come inside at this time. *its too hard to explain* I need to build them a TEMPERARY place they can stay with their mother until they are old enough to be given away or sold. PLEASE NO MORE ANSWERS ABOUT TAKING THEM TO A SHELTER!!! The woods are not a lot of woods, only a few trees with a few squirrels and raccoons, and they are on the edge of the woods, not in them, I just need info on how to BUILD a SAFE PLACE! Please??!? Thank You! For all the IDIOTS out there answering this question….. : I AM GIVING THEM AWAY AND PEOPLE CAN GIVE THEN THE HEALTH THEY NEED WHEN TYE GET THEM! I am not giving them to a shelter becuz cats that they do not get rid of, u know what they do???? THEY KILL THEM!!!! N dont tell me they dont becuz I used to volunteer at one around here…. N I am not taking tose chances with my kittens!! I want to raise them and give them away to people I know will take care of them! Is that THIS hard to understand?????? OMG! The Question I Am Asking is: Please tell me how to make a shelter for my cat and her kittens. That is ALL want to know! And I do give a d***, 3cats, that’s why I’m taking it into my own hands. The shelters aroun here just don’t care… thye just want to get rid of them. If you lived around ere, you would see wut I mean… And thank you for those who arent half-retarded and gave me some really good ideas!
We live in Milton, KY, and are looking for contractors to build, or someone to give good info on building a storm shelter, as we have a lot of Tornadic weather here all summer long. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
This amazing EF2 tornado was the 3rd intercepted by Hank Schyma just east of Grand Island Nebraska (approaching Aurora) on June 17th 2009. At one point it was a 1/4 mile wide and destroyed a families home and barn. 6 people escaped into the basement seconds before their house was ripped apart. BTW, RFD= Rear Flank Downdraft… Big hail, Strong wrap-around wind, torrential rains, muddy roads, and flying monkeys! Often storm chasers on the back side of the tornado try to maintain possition …
Another fine collection of severe weather footage from my Broadcast collection. The actual footage contains longer clips. The footage is very high quality. All footage was shot by me, and is released for public viewing on You Tube. Please visit our main website at stormchaser.com to email as we do not check our box here frequently.
There's a tropical system trying to develop off the coast of the Southeastern U.S. and it's likely to develop into a tropical storm and maybe even a hurricane. It's projected to hit the Carolinas and then go back out to sea and hug the Long Island coast while it's still a Tropical Storm according to Accuweather.com and according to past maps from their headlines on their main U.S. page there was this one map that showed Long Island in the most probable path and another map showed areas to watch out for which included Long Island. Is it too early to tell what will happen or can you give me the odds for Long Island getting a direct hit. I'm not worried about it because we were hit by Tropical Storm Floyd in 1999 and Hurricane Gloria in 1985 and I'm a weather fanatic always tracking tropical cyclones and weather. It's just that we're at a high risk for a major Hurricane and it's been 8 years since the last direct hit for a Tropical Storm. I apologize for the wordy details.
