Now, I don't know about you but if I am stupid enough to stay when they tell you to leave and this hurricane was dang near the size of your whole state you deserved to have to pay the bill for your rescue. It is not different than being charged for having an ambulance come to your aid. The ambulance company sends you a bill.... so why not get a bill from local emergency services for your rescue.... For the love of Mike let's don't give them $2,000 cards so they can get lap dances and designer handbags talk about a waste...... Now, I don't know about you but if I am stupid enough to stay when they tell you to leave and this hurricane was dang near the size of your whole state you deserved to have to pay the bill for your rescue. All these people that sayed in galveston and made it through, have no running water, no electricty,no food, what the hell were they thinking. and now want someone to come get them? Whats up with that. Stupid is all I know, yes they should be charged a fee. Not only hurricans victims, but people that get lost hiking on a mountian.
