Since you asked is right. The tornando(es) were on the outskirts of the GTA and not the city of Toronto. GTA = Greater Toronto Area. Toronto itself....we don't get Tornadoes but the other cities around Toronto do occasionally. You don't have to worry about Tornadoes quit yet. Relax. The weather has been somewhat unstable this year but it's nothing to freak about. Just go green and help the planet out as much as you can and things won't go all crazy.

They can happen anywhere. I wouldn't worry too much about repeat tornadoes. It's just been a weird weather year.

Canada is part of N. America and yes tornadoes can happen anywhere. Some places are more prone than others. Ontario has been known to have tornadoes in the past, every year there is a touch down somewhere. It is the ones that do the most damage that everyone hears about. This has been going on forever so it is nothing new.

That was barely in city limits, and I am not talking metro, I am talking the GTA county, miles and miles from downtown. And yes, as the planet warms, it will get more violent, that is pretty much a guarantee.
