Up-close video of the tornado in Lane Co, KS - new angle
Incredible video of a strong rope tornado in Lane Co, KS on May 23, 2008, from only a 1/2 mile away! TornadoVideos.net streaming unit #4 (Dave Holder and John Harris) shot this video from the west, as the sun illuminated the funnel bright white.

I caught the first tornado in this video (along with the monster wedge that preceded it to the west).
lane county is one of the most baron places in kansas or in the us besides alaska. i want to start chasing tornado and i thought dodge city would be a great place to center my operation at because it is directly in the center of tornado alley.
Guys like us like this stuff……it destroys shit…and its loud…if it had boobs and a six pack…..that would be OUR gift from heaven
