Tree removal, normally is only for the structure that the tree landed on. Tree removal, on the standard policy, doesn't cover tree debris or downed trees, just in the yard.

There's no such thing as "all the endorsements". There's no way you have EVERY endorsement possible.

Unless your roof was damaged badly enough that the house wasn't habitable, or there's a medical condition in your family that requires electricity (someone on an oxygen tank? dialysis? artificial lung?), the generator and gas are likely NOT going to be covered under your additional living expenses only because the power was out.

I am an insurance agent in Houston and have been helping my clients with Hurricane Ike damage since it happened.

It looks to me that American Risk is correct. If there are any other additional living expense costs, make sure to include that in the final settlement as well. Make sure to include your generator costs, cost of gas, if you had to pay for additional food. Another thing you may want to include is any additional cost you incurred after the hurricane to keep your home from suffering further damage. (For example, did you buy a blue tarp from the hardware store to prevent further damage?)
