What do you think the 2009 hurricane season will be like?
it’ll be that time again in 3 months. I live in louisiana and it seems like we just barely went through hurricane gustav and hurricane season is already coming again. I always get kinda nervous about us having another 2005. not just talking about new olreans either, that year was crazy as hell when it came to hurricanes. do you think this’ll just be another season to come and go or something worse? also have they made the predictions on how many storms we’ll have?

It’s going to be really bad, if you live
by the water move away ASAP.
I think it’ll be worse than 2008 because of rising sea levels and global warming.
I live here in Tampa and believe that it’s going to be pretty bad since the last two seasons were relatively calm. I think Florida is going to take the brunt of the storms though since we haven’t had a bad one in years.

3 months? I thought hurricane season was in the Fall? Anyway, supposedly the weather is getting more violent all the time with Global Warming. The last ten years have reported 6-7 of the hottest years on record since recordkeeping began in the 1880’s. Also, some of the deadliest tornadoes as well during that time.
