What effect do you think this info. will have on passage of the Cap & Trade Bill in the Senate?
Sorry about the length, but a lot of people won’t click on links. This sounds like a cover-up to me - your thoughts?
The Environmental Protection Agency is stifling a report hostile to the agency’s global warming agenda, a free-enterprise group revealed.
The EPA is keeping the report under wraps and silencing its author because the Obama administration is pressuring it to support carbon dioxide regulations, according to the Competitive Enterprise Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan public policy group dedicated to the principles of free enterprise and limited government.
The suppressed report warns that the EPA’s adoption of the United Nations’ 2007 “Fourth Assessment” means that it is relying on outdated research and ignoring major new developments on the issue of climate change.
The enterprise institute, which released the report by analyst and economist/physicist Alan Carlin, explained that those new developments include the continued decline in global temperatures, a new consensus that hurricanes will not be more frequent or intense, and new findings that water vapor will moderate, rather than exacerbate, temperature.
Other new data indicates that ocean cycles probably are the most important single factor in explaining temperature fluctuations, though solar cycles may play a role as well, the institute said. Moreover, reliable satellite data undercut the likelihood of endangerment from greenhouse gases.
All of this demonstrates that the EPA should analyze the science independently, rather than just adopt the conclusions of outside organizations such as the United Nations, the institute said.
The institute’s general counsel, Sam Kazman, explained its release of the report by saying, “While we hoped the EPA would release the final report, we’re tired of waiting for this agency to become transparent, even though its administrator has been talking transparency since she took office. So we are releasing a draft version of the report ourselves."

I believe Obama and his administration will get this bill passed for one reason only and that is to have more control regardless of what the real and updated analyst state. Notice how they are going on old and out dated research. All in all, Obama and his administration doesn’t care, all they want is complete control. what we have to remember is that Obama and his administration can have all the control they want but they won’t be able to control the situation of our climate. Our world is going to go through changes no matter who is in charge. Obama is only a man and there is only one person greater than a man and that is God and it was God who created this earth and everything within and we must remember that in an flash God can take away at any moment he chooses.
All we can do is pray that God comes and takes the control of Obama the man before Obama reeks evil unto all these Innocent people.
As far as this bill goes, this administration has nothing but fools in it especially if they rely on outdated material. Look at our political congress and senate, they can’t even read the majority of the stuff they put through now so this bill will pass.
I know i know the science of GW is bias and political however this bill is so messed up i want it to pass only so the Dems will have a disaster on their hands.
Since when has fact been a part of the agenda of Congress?
I don’t think it will effect the big heads in washington, as they’re basically controlled by private sponsors anyway. It will just make people who follow and understand the issue even angrier that this is going through.
LOL! I will answer your question with a question in that do you trust our government? I don’t. So nothing surprises me when it comes to government officials.
Ocean currents are the big deal. How do you even begin to assign corporate responsibility for that one- let’s face it, we may or my not be doomed and we may or may not even care sufficiently.
None. A report nobody knows about except your dubious news source (funded by a group of Conservatives investors) which doesn’t reveal it. Probably because there is no such thing.
If you go to this site you will see a list of incorrect items they have carried.

I hope the bill fails - however, Obama and crew like to take advantage of a ‘crisis’ - so I imagine they will sneak it through during the night if H1N1 resurfaces, or some other problem with N.Korea, etc. I hope not, but what Obama wants, Obama gets! Since when does scientific data mean anything to them?
Obama is doing everything he can to get this cap and tax passed. He will do anything he can to silence any opposition.
Sadly, probably no effect at all. Science (logic and reasoning) and left wing liberals (fantasyland) are too polar.
who knows, this has to do with the global socialist agenda of the Joyce Foundation. Obama served on their board, and they created the Chicago Climate Exchange who will make money off of this stuff if it goes through. Here is the rest of their 6 step agenda, which includes destroying second amendment rights:

regarding the first amendment and the establishment clause:

I guess the dubious origins of "Earth Day" are no more problematic than Alinsky’s Lucifer-dedicated doctrine, or Gregory Galluzzo calling himself "Alinsky’s St. Paul." The end justifies the means.
