Why are we not experiencing more intense hurricanes as predicted by the global warming scientists?
Both Northern Hemisphere and South Hemisphere AND therefore overall Global hurricane activity has continued to sink to levels not seen since the 1970s. Even more astounding, when the Southern Hemisphere hurricane data is analyzed to create a global value, we see that Global Hurricane Energy has sunk to 30-year lows, at the least.

Hurricane climate experts in your study depend on field data. The amount of hurricane data is not enough for your climate models to project real 20 to 100 year forecasts. Yet again they are estimations!

firstly the Earth seems 2 bee cooling then heating due too climate change. hurricanes occur in high temperature oceans, and sooner or later the oceans temperature will rise meaning more hurricanes………. i reackon wby 2012 :/
weather patterns have always fluctuated. it’s just that we are myopic and tend to think the way things are now is how they have always been. so any increase or decrease in activity is viewed suspiciously. global warming or no global warming our time will one day be up on this planet.

Fewer hurricanes are a sure sign of global warming. Or is it more?
Because the warming period has ended.
It ended a few years ago and despite that it is starting to become obvious with the more severe winters everywhere over the past couple of years, people are still drunk on the propaganda.
Of course, those who will profit from the scare want to continue to spin it as far as they can. They were successful in Copenhagen. Western nations will be contributing billions of tax dollars to the global governance cause as a result of Copenhagen despite that the media is spinning it as a failure. The conference achieved its aims, and the aims have nothing to do with science.

The blog post you cite references data analysis by Ryan Maue, who is a graduate student at Florida State and whose data contradicts that of NOAA. He has not yet explained why his analysis is right and that of NOAA is wrong.
Personally when choosing to believe either the NOAA or some grad student, I’ll take the NOAA until the grad student gives me a darn good reason otherwise.
Deniers will believe the grad student because they like his conclusions.
I live in New Orleans and the issue of global warming + hurricane strength was a topic in the year or two after Katrina. No actual scientists would make a connection and some recognized hurricane experts denied any connection:

The issue is complicated by the fact there is very little scientific data about hurrricanes from before WWII. Most of what is available is indirect evidence such as tree rings in Florida. The lack of data makes it possible for activists to claim anything. That is how the connection between hurricane strength and global warming was made by the likes of Al Gore.
Don’t forget to stop by the Chinese Communist Embassy on the way home to pay your carbon tax. Al gets a cut.

We didn’t have alot of Hurricane activity, the warmers were wrong, I just wonder what kind of links and data they will give you to cover this up…
