I live in Andover and the air force base is like a 20 minute drive. It’s the same tornado the whole time.

We were having our 8th grade dance in Wichita while all this was going on. I still remember coming home and watching coverage 24 hours straight

I was on I 95 i saw a tornado in north carolina a few years back
They just left their dog outside like that and it was barking?!? IF the dog survived it would probably never forgive the owners. If the owners where in the basement with the dog thank god,

I agree, but people here in Kansas have video cameras(digital cameras) to tape for insurance purposes. Sometimes if you are in a safe distance, you get pictures like that. Key is to listen to the information to make sure you’re secure, then get the cool shots so everyone can ooh & ahh. But filming the death of someone, even accidentally is very sick, I agree.
I remember weeks and months after the tornado not being able to stay in hotels. Because they were filled with either displaced residents or insurance companies renting a slew of rooms for their policy holders waiting for the insurance checks to come in.
Just think what it would have been like toward the end of the vid to be in one of those houses and see something like that comming toward you. Damn!!!!
