With the hurricane season upon us, how useful are cell phone chargers that require only a double AA battery?
Could this type of lipstick-size charger actually benefit victims in emergencies such as tornados and hurricanes? On another level, for outdoor camping, different hunting seasons etc.? In case your vehicle’s battery goes dead and you’re stranded?

I’ve had almost no luck with battey powered chargers. I’ve had one that overheated and caused the batteries inside to leak battery acid.
I live in Mobile, Alabama and when we know a hurricane is coming, we charge up the phones and pray. If you have a generator then you can plug it up but 90% of the time, your cell phone won’t work anyway because of all the disturbance and the fact that trees and towers are down.
But a good idea I found was that I bought another battery for my cell phone, so when the first one dies and I don’t have a power source I have the other ready to go.
there very useful if you live on the southeast coast. They also have battery extenders that you can buy the plugs in and will keep your cell alive for a few more hours.
no because the battery will be used real fast or unless you buy alot of batterys!
none if you got solar charger
